The Portland Recreation High School Basketball League was won by Riverton Rec last week, which downed the undefeated Yellow Jackets of the Portland Boys and Girls Club, 65-59, at the Portland Expo. Riverton's title was its second in a row. The Riverton team consists of players from Deering High School. The long-running competitive Rec league is comprised of 12 teams from Portland, South Portland and Auburn/Lewiston.
