Bailey, in Freeport, will discuss his career

FREEPORT — Lawyer F. Lee Bailey will discuss his career in an interview with Bill Green of WCSH-TV on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Freeport Performing Arts Center at Freeport High School. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students.

Bailey, 80, known for his criminal defense work on the cases of O.J. Simpson, Patty Hearst, Sam Sheppard and others, was disbarred in Florida and Massachusetts more than a decade ago for his conduct during a case involving an accused marijuana dealer. He is currently appealing a decision by the Board of Bar Examiners that denied him a license to practice in Maine.

A Massachusetts native, Bailey studied at Harvard College and Boston University.
