Arrests

12/3 at 11:22 a.m. Sherry A. Batemen, 50, of Jordan Avenue, was arrested on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Justin Dolci on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

12/3 at 12:54 p.m. Jonathan E. Hummel, 50, no address listed, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Daniel Sylvain on an outstanding warrant.

12/3 at 9:23 p.m. Gary K. Hersom, 52, of Adams Landing, Topsham, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of operating under the influence and operating without a license.

12/5 at 9:10 p.m. Shawn C. Crosson, 28, of Union Street, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Patrick Scott on a charge of being a habitual motor vehicle offender.

12/5 at 9:50 p.m. Anthony Manganella, 31, of Church Road, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Edward Yurek on two outstanding warrants.

12/8 at 9:10 p.m. Joshua M. Robinson Sr., 28, of Main Road, Phippsburg, was arrested on Bath Road by Officer Jason McCarthy on charges of violating condition of release and operating while license is suspended or revoked.

12/4 at 10:23 a.m. Shane D. Sukeforth, 21, of Sukie Lane, Wiscasset, was issued a summons on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Daniel Sylvain on a charge of speeding 30 mph or more over the limit.

12/4 at 1:44 p.m. Gregory L. Batteese, 50, of Crooker Road, was issued a summons on U.S. Route 1 by Officer Daniel Sylvain on a charge of failure to register a vehicle.

12/6 at 12:26 p.m. Julie A. Thibodeau, 42, of Union Street, was issued a summons on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Justin Dolci on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

12/7 at 3:17 a.m. Kevin D. Hooper, 46, of Thunder Road, Freeport, was issued a summons on Thunder Road by Officer Jerod Verrill on charges of operating while license is suspended or revoked and attaching false plates.

Meeting mayhem

12:4 at 8:01 p.m. Police responded to a complaint about "loud noises" coming from the parking lot of the school superintendent's office at 46 Federal St. The noise was caused by attendees of a School Board meeting that had just adjourned.

One person's trash is another person's suspicious box

12/4 at 11:47 a.m. Police responded to a complaint about a "suspicious box" near the approach to the Frank J. Woods Bridge. A quick investigation revealed that the box was full of trash.

12/6 at 6:57 a.m. Vehicle crash on Durham Road.

12/6 at 12:27 p.m. Assist citizen on Hawthorne Street. 

12/6 at 4:11 p.m. Burning electrical smell on Dunning Street.

Brunswick emergency medical services responded to 41 calls from Dec. 3-9.
