The Arthritis Foundation is hosting the Freeport Jingle Bell Run Dec. 8 at Freeport High School. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 10 a.m. FMI, freeportjbr.kintera.org/.
McAuley basketball clinic upcoming
Three-time defending Class A girls' basketball state champion McAuley is holding a three-week Sunday Basketball Program Dec. 1, 8 and 15. The clinic is run by Lions coach Billy Goodman and varsity players. The first 45 minutes each week are devoted to drills and fundamentals with the final 45 minutes reserved for games. Girls in grades 3-5 go from 9 to 10:30 a.m., while girls in grades 6-8 go from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $15 per week or $40 for the three weeks. Falmouth Baseball Boosters holding meeting
The Falmouth Baseball Boosters will meet Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m., in room 100 of the high school. The Boosters provide funding, support and volunteer services for the high school and American Legion Post No. 164 programs. The public is invited to attend.
