Letter: Brunswick should elect Harris to Town Council

Alison Harris is the best-organized and most service-oriented person I have ever known. She has the skills and demeanor to excel in the office she seeks.

Alison dependably makes long-term goals real. Prospects for a cooperative venture to benefit Topsham and Brunswick drew Alison to the Androscoggin Riverwalk Advisory Committee. She created its website and crafted grant proposals.

Alison made a mountain of work look easy on the People Plus board. She acquired, catalogued, and supervised sales of 200-plus items for Music in April, raising over $25,000 for the center’s programs.

Alison’s leadership style contributes to the harmony and productivity of every group. Starting in 2010, Alison volunteered to develop Brunswick’s Visitor Center from concept to active resource, now providing travel and community information to over 2,400 passengers and residents each month. It will be my honor to vote for Alison Harris for Town Council.
