Letter: Watson for Brunswick School Board

My family is enthusiastically endorsing Byron Watson for the District 1 seat on the Brunswick School Board. His opponent represents the same old, and tired, ultra-liberal tax-and-spend mentality that has brought us everything from double-digit tax hikes to the very scary and ill-fated Obamacare. Byron Watson is a breath of fresh air returning to the School Board at a time when we most need a common-sense approach to fiscal accountability and a laser focus on assuring student achievement. I am confident Mr. Watson will work hard in the service of our community's children. Unlike his opponent, who has failed to provide leadership in the direction of improving education outcomes, Mr. Watson has been a stalwart leader of youth programs in Brunswick. I am confident that Mr. Watson’s student-focused, common-sense leadership will serve our children well for generations.
