Topsham Police Beat: Aug. 30
8/22 at 4:45 p.m. Frank Cuppernell, 24, of Sunset View Lane, Orr's Island, was arrested by Officer William Collins on a warrant on Ward Road. Cuppernell was also issued a summons on a charge of operating after suspension.
8/22 at 1:40 a.m. Katelyn McLaughlin, 19, of Main Street, was issued a summons by Officer Randy Cook on Main Street on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license. Benjamin Labbay, 22, of Main Street, was also issued a summons on a charge of permitting unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
8/23 at 9:29 p.m. Officer Cheryl Holmes and Sgt. Mark Gilliam responded to the report of a male peering into the windows of a house on Williams Drive. The officers could not find any suspects, but did notice that all four tires on the resident's motor vehicle had been cut.
8/19 at 6:10 p.m. Possible motor vehicle fire on Mallett Drive.
8/20 at 8:43 a.m. Medical emergency on Riverview Drive.
8/20 at 1:53 p.m. Motor vehicle accident on Bypass Drive.
8/23 at 8:19 p.m. Odor of smoke in area on Merrymeeting Drive.
8/24 at 5:12 p.m. Fire alarm on Elm Street.
