Arrests

8/13 at 10:55 p.m. Johhny R. Yim, 48, of Church Road, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Patrick Scott on an outstanding warrant.

8/14 at 2:21 p.m. Dyllan Bozora, 21, of Oak Street, Boothbay Harbor, was arrested on Bath Road by Officer Daniel Sylvain on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating condition of release.

8/14 at 5:29 p.m. Tara L. Boore, 29, of Franklin Parkway, was arrested on Elm Street by Officer Patrick Scott on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and possession of marijuana.

8/16 at 1:02 a.m. Daniel M. Lay, 52, of Coombs Road, was arrested at Bath Road and Jordan Avenue by Officer Daniel Herbert on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/16 at 2:47 p.m. Jennifer M. Church, 27, of Barney Cianchette Road, Pittsfield, was arrested on Pleasant Street by Officer Terry Goan on a charge of forgery.

8/17 at 1:46 a.m. Ashley S. Santano, 23, of Stovers Point Road, Harpswell, was arrested at Harpswell and Middlebay roads by Officer Thomas Stanton Jr. on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/19 at 2:49 a.m. Nathaniel J. Thorpe, 31, of Antietam Street, was arrested on Bath Road by Officer Thomas Stanton Jr. on a charge of attaching false plates.

Summonses

8/15 at 7:06 p.m. Melissa Patterson, 21, of Davis Street, was issued a summons at Maine and Bowdoin streets by Officer Matthew Swan on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

8/18 at 9:11 p.m. Melissa C. Severy, 33, of River Road, Gardiner, was issued a summons on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Mark Steele Jr. on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

8/18 at 9:11 p.m. Nicki Boynton, 30, of Middle Road, Sidney, was issued a summons on Tibbetts Drive by Officer Mark Steele Jr. on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

No money, mo' problems

8/16 at 2:47 p.m. Police responded to complaints of a woman attempting to cash a forged $75,000 check at ACE Cash Express on Pleasant Street. After receiving the forged check from Jennifer M. Church, 27, of Barney Cianchette Road, Pittsfield, a manager discovered the check was inauthentic and alerted police. Church was arrested on a charge of forgery and later released on personal recognizance.

8/16 at 9:35 p.m. Smoke alarm on Maine Street.
