Arrests

7/16 at 8:57 a.m. Makaley N. Nichols, 23, of 47th Avenue, Vero Beach, Fla., was arrested at Gorham and Running Hill roads by Detective Francis Plourd on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

7/17 at 11:23 p.m. Uwe K. Kirchner, 48, of Peregrine Way, was arrested at Fengler and Holmes roads by Officer Melissa DiClemente on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/18 at 1:27 p.m. Joseph D. Rego, 28, of Tink Drive, Gorham, was arrested on Payne Road by Officer Austin Clark on an outstanding warrant from another agency.

7/19 at 12:50 a.m. Jeffrey A. Irish, 45, of Arbor View Lane, was arrested at U.S. Route 1 and Southgate Road by Officer Shawn Anastasoff on a charge of operating under the influence.

Got to be a morning after

7/18 at 11:45 a.m. A man complaining of dehydration from partying the night before refused medical treatment at Wal-Mart on Gallery Boulevard. He was given some water and eventually left with his girlfriend, police said.

International exhaustion

7/20 at 5:21 p.m. A driver warned about erratic operation on U.S. Route 1 at Broadturn Road told police he had changed lanes without signalling, crossed the center line and cut off vehicles because he was tired after driving in from Canada.
