SOUTH PORTLAND — The fight against cancer will be waged on two and four legs from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, May 19, at the first American Cancer Society Bark for Life at Bug Light Park.

The noncompetitive dog-walking event has a $20 registration fee for one dog and owner, and $40 for two or more dogs. Registered dogs will be given a Bark for Life bandanna, and walkers who raise $100 or more in donations will get a T-shirt.
