Casco Bay sports winter offerings

Casco Bay Sports is offering leagues for Tuesday co-ed dodgeball (starting Nov. 27), Wednesday co-ed indoor soccer (starting Nov. 28), Wednesday co-ed indoor softball (starting Nov. 28), Sunday co-ed indoor flag football (beginning Dec. 2), Tuesday co-ed basketball (starting Dec. 4), Monday co-ed dodgeball (starting Dec. 10) and Monday night wiffle ball (starting Dec. 10). McAuley basketball clinic upcoming

The McAuley girls' basketball team and coaches are offering a basketball clinic Sundays Dec. 2, 9 and 16. Girls in grades 3-5 go from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and girls in grades 6-8 go from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The first 45 minutes will be devoted to drills and fundamentals led by coach Billy Goodman and facilitated by the players. Games will be played the final 45 minutes. The cost is $15 per week or $40 for all three and includes a T-shirt and free admission to McAuley's Feb. 5 home game versus Portland. SMCC soccer players named All-Americans

Southern Maine Community College soccer players Peter Dore, Kyle Ehlers and Michela Desjardins were all named USCAA All-American honorable mention selections. Dore led the men's team in goals and total points. Ehlers is a midfielder who played everywhere but goalie during the season. Desjardins was second in the conference in goals, total points and shot on goal percentage.
