The Falmouth sailing team captured the Lawrence A. White Trophy Regatta at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., Oct. 13-14. The race was an invitation-only event based on the team's resume, with competitors from Chicago to Maine. Falmouth finished place first overall out of 21 total teams. Charlie Lalumiere and Haley McMahon crushed the 'A' division with a total of 56 points over 16 races. Riley Engelberger, Kayla Adelman and Myles Everett had a great outcome to finish eighth in a competitive 'B' division.
In November, the team will travel to the Atlantic Coast Championships in Christ Church, Va. Falmouth was one of only two New England schools to qualify.
