Letter: Re-elect Woodbury in Senate District 11

Voters of Senate District 11 have the chance to continue an exciting trend that is improving how Maine government works: re-electing an independent, Sen. Dick Woodbury. Freed from extreme party positions, Dick has a proven record of examining each issue on its merits and working with both parties to achieve constructive solutions. This political independence is enhanced by his extensive substantive knowledge on subjects like taxes, health care, and economic development, making him independent of the special interests. Dick has an established record of moving the state towards a pro-business climate that understands the benefit of focused, limited, state regulation and limited state government that will produce not another boom-bust economy, but instead, produce enduring long-term growth that benefits our citizens and protects our environment for generations. Words fail us in terms of the strength of our endorsement of Dick Woodbury.
