SOUTH PORTLAND — Runners and walkers are invited to lace up their shoes and help two local nonprofits Sunday at 9 a.m. with the first annual Bug Light 5K Run/Walk.

The course begins and ends at Bug Light Park and passes through Willard Beach and Willard Square. Pre-race registration is $15, and race-day registration is $20. Proceeds benefit the South Portland Land Trust and South Portland Historical Society.
