Rogers for House District 62, City Council

Opinion

Rogers for House District 62, City Council

Kyle Rogers is running for Maine House District 62 and for Ward 3 Bath City Council. Running for both offices is allowed and he is capable of representing folks in his ward and in his district.

Fiscally conservative, Kyle has a proven record. Fighting for responsible spending, Kyle was instrumental in getting a $350,000 bond (loan with interest,) rejected by a voter ballot initiative. Kyle supported the project, but felt it should be privately funded. When Kyle votes against an issue, he tells you why.

Kyle feels that costs for Regional School Unit 1 are out of control; the savings promised have not materialized. RSU 1 needs to go back to a school union with funds controlled by the city. Kyle will fight for responsible spending, and bring balance to the discussions. He is adamant about cost-benefit analysis before spending. Vote for Kyle Rogers for Bath Ward 3 Council and for House District 62.
