Arrests

8/25 at 5:08 p.m. Mohamed Ahmed, 30, of South Portland, was arrested on Market Street by Officer Theodore Sargent on a charge of violating conditions of release.

8/29 at 11:57 p.m. Erika M. Apicella, 31, of Plymouth, Mass., was arrested on I-295 by Officer David Stailing on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/30 at 2:15 a.m. Evan C. Dahms, 24, of South Portland, was arrested on the Veterans Memorial Bridge by Officer Kevin Sager on charges of operating under the influence and operating with an expired license.

8/25 at 5:05 p.m. A 13-year-old-female, of South Portland, was issued a summons on Market Street by Officer Theodore Sargent on charges of theft by unauthorized taking and illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

8/31 at 11:40 p.m. Andrew Benjamin, 20, of Westbrook, was issued a summons on North MacArthur Circle by Officer Scott Corbett on a charge of illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

Cruisin'

8/26 at 5:14 p.m. A 13-year-old female from Augusta was charged with receiving stolen property, driving to endanger, eluding an officer and operating without a license. She was arrested by Officer Andrew Nelson after allegedly being seen driving a Dodge Caravan reported missing in Dixfield. Nelson repeatedly tried to stop the suspect as she drove through the Maine Mall, Foden Road and Jetport Plaza areas. She was eventually detained after walking away from the parked vehicle. There were no passengers in the van.
