Arrests

7/16 at 4:45 p.m. Joseph Kimball, 19, of Washington Street, was arrested by Officer Richard Ross on Washington Street on a charge of domestic violence assault.

7/17 at 8 p.m. Jacob Percy, 24, of Heath Lane, was arrested by Officer Jason Aucoin on Heath Lane on charges of assault and criminal mischief.

7/22 at 1 a.m. Andrew McNelly, 28, of Chelmax Drive, West Bath, was arrested by Officer Mike Lever on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

7/20, no time listed. Joseph Swain, 39, of Windjammer Way, was issued a summons by Officer Brett McIntire on Route 1 on a charge of operating after suspension.

7/21, no time listed. Christopher McKenney, 20, of Mere Point Road, Brunswick, was issued a summons by Officer Brett McIntire on Shaw Street on charges of criminal mischief and violation of condition of release.

Pole (dis)position

7/22 at 12:38 a.m. Police and other emergency personnel responded to a single-vehicle accident on Route 1, where a southbound station wagon struck a Central Maine Power pole. The pole broke, leaving wire hanging across the entrance to a Clipper Mart store. Andrew McNelly, 28, of West Bath, the sole occupant, was arrested at the scene for operating under the influence. The speed of the vehicle also was a factor in the accident, according to police.
