Local bowler part of first place HS team

Scarborough's Tyler Lerman (back row, third from left) is part of the Southern Maine Blizzard, a high school bowling team, which plays at Yankee Lanes. The team won its first five matches, placed second at a Christmas tournament and is currently first in the Southern Division. The state individual championships will be held Feb. 11 in Bangor. The team championships are March 3 at Yankee Lanes.
