    The U-16 Maine Riptide softball team, comprised mainly of girls from Cumberland/North Yarmouth and Falmouth, won two tournaments this summer. The Riptide won the Brawl at the Beach in Hampton Beach, N.H. and defended their title at the Barbara Hamilton Memorial Tournament in Hudson, N.H.
