WEST BATH — The group examining pollution in the New Meadows River watershed will hold a forum to discuss the impacts of restoring the tidal flow to the region’s corresponding lakes.

The forum will be held Feb. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Bath Fire Hall, 192 State Road.

The discussion will be hosted by the New Meadows Watershed Project, a collaborative of citizens, municipal, state and federal officials studying preservation and pollution-mitigation strategies for the 23-square-mile region.

The forum will discuss a 2009 community survey about the watershed, water quality reports and the future of the lakes created by dams in the New Meadows River.
