Cheverus has named Dan Soule as its new boys’ lacrosse coach. Soule played lacrosse at the University of Southern Maine and was the boys’ coach at Gorham High School for six years and was twice named conference Coach of the Year. Soule also coached freshman football at Cheverus. He replaces Bill Bodwell, who left the program to coach at Gordon College, and becomes the third coach in the school’s history (Deke Andrew was first).

“We are thrilled to welcome back Dan to Cheverus,” said Cheverus athletic director Amy Ashley. “He understands our mission. He has a wealth of experience as a lacrosse coach, as well as a deep passion for the game that will bring an infusion of energy to our program.”
