FALMOUTH — Overnight paving will take place on Interstate 295 through Brunswick, Freeport, Yarmouth, Cumberland and Falmouth beginning Monday, July 18.

Work on both sides of the highway will stretch 21.5 miles, from the Portland/Falmouth line to the Androscoggin River Bridge in Brunswick, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

Southbound work will be performed from 9 p.m. Sundays to 6 a.m. Mondays, and 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Northbound work will be performed Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m.-6 a.m., and from 9 p.m. Fridays to 6 a.m. Saturdays.

All ramps will remain open during the $3.3 million project, which is being done by All States Material Group of Sunderland, Massachusetts.
