FALMOUTH — A Naples man who was arrested last month for allegedly robbing the Rite Aid pharmacy on Depot Road has been indicted on two charges.

An indictment is a finding that enough evidence exists to prosecute, not a finding of guilt.

Cory Waugh, 33, of Naples, entered the pharmacy at 33 Depot Road at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 2, according to police. Waugh was alone, displayed a knife to the pharmacist, and demanded narcotics, police said.

He fled, and was tracked to his home in Naples and arrested without incident the same day by Falmouth police and Cumberland County Sheriffs Office deputies.

Waugh was indicted Sept. 9 by a Cumberland County grand jury for Class A felony robbery and Class E violation of conditions of release.
