BATH — Nancy Pauline Pederson, 80, of Brunswick, died Sept. 1, with her family by her side.

She was born Jan. 15, 1935, in Bath, the daughter of Worrall C. and Helen M. (Savoie) Lemont. She grew up in Bath and attended Morse High School.

In 1960, she married Bill Pederson, and the couple resided in Bath to raise their family.

Nancy was a hard worker and took pride in her accomplishments. Over the years, she was employed at numerous local businesses, including Longley’s, Clare’s Dolphin, Ray’s Market, Bowman’s and Lincoln Market.

She was most proud of her family, and especially looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for her big heart and her sense of humor.

Pederson was predeceased by three brothers, Worrall “Sonny” Lemont, Theodore “Teddy” Lemont, of Bath, and John O. Lemont, of Phippsburg; and two sisters, Virginia Watson, of Phippsburg, and Fay Joanne Brewster, of Bath.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Turner and her husband, Norman, of Phippsburg, and Tammie L. Baker and her husband, Michael, of Brunswick; two sons, Mark Pederson, of Farmingdale, and J. Wayne Driscoll and his wife, Priscilla, of Bath; a special niece, Carol Andrew; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Libby, of Phippsburg, Helen Fredrick and her husband, Lee, of Bath, and Adele “Sugar” Madore, of Bath; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Sept. 4 at St. Mary Church, in Bath, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
