NORTH YARMOUTH — The first North Yarmouth Family Triathlon will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29.
The event will begin at Wescustogo Park on Route 231 with 1.75 miles of paddling on the Royal River, to the take-out at Route 9. Participants will then bicycle one mile and run one mile through Old Town House Park.
Teams of family and friends are encouraged, along with individual entrants. The cost is $15, whether the entry is for an individual or a team, and souvenir t-shirts can be ordered for $10.
