NORTH YARMOUTH — The fourth annual North Yarmouth Family Triathlon, or “Tri-NY,” will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22.
The event, open to all ages, starts at Wescustogo Park on Route 231, from which participants will paddle canoes or kayaks down the Royal River to Old Town House Park. They will then run one mile and bike another to the Old Town House finish line.
Individuals or teams can participate, and the cost is $15, for an individual or team. A commemorative t-shirt is included with each registration; additional shirts can be bought for $10 each.
The event, presented by North Yarmouth Events Committee, will be held rain or shine.
The deadline to sign up is June 16, and people can register online at tinyurl.com/triny2013.
