BRUNSWICK — Myrna G. Pierce, 97, of Brunswick, died Saturday at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.
Pierce was born Nov. 10, 1915, in Georgetown, the daughter of Byron and Grace Humphrey Campbell. She attended schools in Georgetown.
She married her husband, Paul Pierce, on April 5, 1946, in Bath. He died in 1996.
Pierce worked at Bath Iron Works during World War II and later worked at local shoe factories.
She was a member of the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene.
She was predeceased by her husband and her son, Christian “Jay” Deschaine, who died Jan. 5, 2012.
She is survived by a stepson, Jim Cyr; a grandson, David Coffin; and many friends.
A funeral service was held Thursday at the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Willis Young officiating.
