Morse’s girls’ soccer team raised $1,961 for the American Cancer Society to support cutting-edge cancer research and cancer patients at its home game Oct. 12 versus Gardiner. The Shipbuilders have been involved in the Coaches vs. Cancer program for several years, raising more money for the cause than any other high school team in Maine. To date, the team has raised more than $10,000.
