PORTLAND — Opponents of the proposed Midtown Towers project on Somerset Street will hold a fundraiser for legal expenses at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Aurora Cafe, 64 Pine St.

Keep Portland Livable co-founders Peter Monro and Tim Paradis estimated as much as $75,000 will be needed to appeal Planning Board approval of the Bayside housing project.
