BRUNSWICK — Free Summer Food Service Program sites will be open in Brunswick, Harpswell, Bath and Topsham through August for children ages 2-18.

The federally funded program operates sites with two designations, “enrolled” and “open.” An open site serves any child; an enrolled site means anyone who has registered for summer camp at that location, and who is also eligible for free or reduced lunch during the school year, can eat for free.

In Brunswick, open sites are Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St., serving lunch from noon-1 p.m. Monday-Friday until Aug. 24, and Perryman Village, 1 Perryman Drive, noon-1 p.m. Monday-Friday until Aug. 31.

Enrolled sites are Hawthorne School, 46 Federal St., serving breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday through Aug. 24; Harriett Beecher Stowe School, 44 McKeen St., breakfast and lunch weekdays until Aug. 16, and Pathways, 16 Burbank St., breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday until Aug. 28.

Topsham’s only open site is Mt. Ararat Middle School, 66 Republic Ave., serving lunch weekdays 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. from July 9-Aug. 10.

The Harpswell Town Office at 263 Mountain Road is also an open site, serving lunch noon-1 p.m. weekdays until Aug. 24.

In Bath, the Bath Area Family YMCA at 303 Centre St. will serve breakfast as an open site from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and lunch from noon-1 p.m. every weekday until Aug. 24. Maritime Apartments at 12 Windjammer Way will serve lunch to all community children from noon-1 p.m. in the Community Room weekdays until Aug. 24.
