Bowdoin women eliminated
The Bowdoin women’s basketball team was eliminated in the NCAA Division III tournament’s Sweet 16, 71-55, by George Fox. The Polar Bears finished the season at 21-8. Kaitlin Donahoe had a team-high 18 points. Jill Henrikson added 14 points. Bowdoin, playing in its 12th straight tournament, was only down by five at halftime, 28-23, before George Fox pulled away in the second half.
RSU5 coaching openings

Maine Premier Lacrosse offerings
Girls’ lacrosse programs are now open for middle and high schoolers. There will also be Learn 2 Lax programs Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Full field high school action is also underway. FMI, mainepremierlax.com.
