Brunswick’s Siegle earns award

Brunswick’s Peggy Siegle, founder of Four Seasons Baseball and a pioneer in the development of indoor baseball facilities in Maine will receive the President’s Award at the 2012 Maine Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony Aug. 5 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. Portland Porpoises compete at state championships

The Portland Porpoise Swim Club competed at the Maine Swimming Championship meet at UMaine-Orono, March 15-18 and placed third, its best performance in years. The Porpoises also had many age group high point winners: Peterson Silk (11-12), 6th; Wyeth Spike (13-14), 5th; Mike O’Donovan (13-14), 3rd; Kevin Kane (13-14), 8th; and Ellen Silk (15-19), 6th.
