First annual lacrosse refereeing camp scheduled

The first annual Midcoast Lacrosse Refereeing Camp will be held Monday through Thursday at Bowdoin College. Times are 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. the first three days and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 9. Directed by Mary Parker and Sue Perkins, the camp features classroom instruction, mechanics, game tape analysis, rules clarification, extensive on-field mentoring and more. Odyssey Sport tryouts upcoming

Golf scramble upcoming

The Odd Fellows’ and Rebekah’s Home of Maine will host its fourth annual golf scramble at the Brunswick Country Club July 27. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Tee-off is 8:30 a.m. The cost for a team of four is $350. Individual players pay $90. FMI, 786-4616.
