The Royal River Striper fishing tournament, the largest striper tournament in the state, will be held Saturday and Sunday in Yarmouth. There will be a captain’s dinner Friday at the Royal River Grill House in Yarmouth. FMI, 846-9050 or royalriverstriper.com.
Midcoast Youth Hockey registration upcoming
The Midcoast Youth Hockey Association is offering a K-12 winter hockey program for area boys and girls. There will be open registration Saturday (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Sunday (12 to 5 p.m.) at Play It Again Sports on Maine Street in Brunswick. FMI, midcoasthockey.org/index.php.
