Knights of Columbus sponsoring soccer challenge

The Knights of Columbus Bath Council is sponsoring a soccer challenge for boys and girls ages 10 to 14, Saturday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. at the Legion Field on Congress Ave. in Bath. FMI, 443-9196.

Crew rowing club holding open house

Bath YMCA Halloween Run taking registration

Registration is now open for the Bath Area Family YMCA’s Long Reach 5K Pumpkin Run, to be held Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. Pre-registration cost is $15. Day-of is $20. There will also be a kids’ 1-mile fun run, beginning at 8:15 a.m. The cost is $5. Proceeds benefit the YMCA. FMI, 443-4412 or bathymca.org.

Sailing regatta/fundraiser upcoming

SailMaine is hosting its second annual Leafer’s Last Leg regatta/SailMaine Soiree silent auction fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 17. Dozens of local high school sailors and seasoned sailing veterans will square off on courses outside Portland Harbor.
