Hyde senior to wrestle at Missouri Valley
Hyde School senior Tierra Williams, of Bath, recently signed a national letter of intent to wrestle for Missouri Valley College next year. Williams was first in New England in 2008 and was the outstanding wrestler at the USA Wrestling’s Northeastern Women’s championship.
New rowing club starting

USM holding wrestling clinics
The University of Southern Maine “Brawlin’ Lobsta Wrestling Club” will offer three weekend wrestling clinics in May, including the first-ever Lady Lobsta Wrestling Clinic. FMI, 233-9044 or jpistone@usm.maine.edu.
Freeport road race upcoming
Bow Street Market and the Freeport Running Boosters have teamed up to put on the “Bow Street Market Tortoise and Hare Road Race,” Saturday, May 15, beginning at 8 a.m. The race begins at Mast Landing in Freeport. Proceeds benefit the Freeport Running Boosters. FMI, 791-3222 or nlarkins@preti.com.
