Red Cross golf benefit upcoming
The Mid Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross is sponsoring a benefit golf tournament Monday at Highland Green Golf Club in Topsham. The cost per foursome is $200. Check-in starts at 8 a.m., with a 9 a.m. tee-off. FMI, 729-6779 or midcoast.redcross.org.
Maine Street Mile next week
The first annual Maine Street Mile, a fun mile run through downtown Brunswick encouraging individuals and families to get up and move, will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, beginning at 9 a.m., at The Mall. The cost is $10 in advance, $20 for a family or one-to-two adults and up to three kids. FMI, runreg.com.
