Brunswick Hot Shot Contest winners named

Brunswick Parks and Recreation recently hosted the Maine Recreation and Park Association and Maine Red Claws Hot Shot Contest. The competition consisted of five hot spots on the floor with the participants having three one-minute rounds to score as many points as possible. The 9-10 division saw Parker Bate take the boys’ title. Logan Brown was first among the girls, with Morgan Foster runner-up. In the 11-12 division, Evan Kilfoil was first and Matthew Green among the boys. Dawson Hebert won the 13-15 division boys’ title, while Charlotte MacMillan won the girls’ crown. Winners and runners-up will compete in Lisbon Saturday in the regional competition. The state championship is Sunday, March 15 in Portland.
