Totman earns future
global leader award

PORTLAND — Andrew Totman of Brunswick was given the 2009 Future Global Leader Award by The Maine International Trade Center.

The Trade Center recognized Totman, a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, as its most outstanding intern.

Totman interned with the Trade Center in the summer of 2008 and is now studying abroad in South Africa at the University of Cape Town.

Chan named April
student of the month

BATH — Tiffany Chan, a ninth grader from Topsham, was named the April Student of the Month at Mt. Ararat High School.

Math teacher Ms. Carole Grimm nominated Chan for her outstanding effort on her work and her willingness to help fellow classmates.

Rattleff earns
Eagle Scout rank

BATH — Bath Area Boy Scout Troop 621 held the Eagle Court of Honor for Bryan Rattleff of Woolwich, who recently earned his Eagle Scout rank.

Rattleff, a senior at Lincoln Academy, built a handicap access ramp at the Wiscasset Church of the Nazarene for his Eagle project.
