PORTLAND — Local and state legislative candidates are scheduled to appear at a 7:15 p.m. forum Thursday, Oct. 25 at the East End Community School, 195 North St.
Expected to attend are incumbent Sen. Ben Chipman, D-Portland and independent candidate Crystal Canney, the candidates for state Senate District 27, and at-large Councilor Nick Mavodones and challenger Joey Brunelle, according to a newsletter from the host, Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Organization.
The forum will be preceded by a 6:30 p.m. business meeting that will feature an update on potential historic protections for Munjoy Hill.
