SCARBOROUGH — A year of research into the local presence of mercury will be on display from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Friday, May 17, at Scarborough High School.
The Student Mercury Science Research Symposium will be held in the Winslow Homer Arts Center. Honors environmental science students taught by Michael Carroll and Toby Walsh will explain their local field work, data and findings, which will be used in larger studies on regional mercury levels.
