Bowdoin’s field hockey team celebrates a goal during Saturday’s 4-0 win over Amherst in the NESCAC semifinals. Sunday, the Polar Bears downed Middlebury, 2-1, on a late goal from Emily McColgan. Bowdoin (18-0) hosts Keene State or Husson in a regional contest Saturday.
Bowdoin’s volleyball team also won a NESCAC title last weekend as Kristy Jewett goes up for a kill in a semifinal round win over Middlebury. The following day, the Polar Bears beat Williams in the final to earn a berth in the NCAA Division III tournament.
