FALMOUTH — Back-to-back workshops next week will explore ways to improve bicycling and walking in the region.

Beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Town Hall, 271 Falmouth Road, cyclist and pedestrian advocate Mike Lyden, of The Street Plans Collaborative, will gather input on how to improve road corridors and off-road trail connections, according to a news release.

Immediately afterward, at 7 p.m., Lyden will broaden the topic to include Cumberland, Freeport, North Yarmouth and Yarmouth.

Two other workshops are planned for Nov. 18 and Dec. 11, times and locations to be determined. The project is sponsored by Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation System (PACTS).
