PORTLAND — Proposed improvements to the crosswalks at off- and on-ramps from Forest Avenue to Interstate 295 Exit 6 will be outlined at a 6 p.m. public meeting Tuesday, Oct. 14.
Held at the rehearsal space in Merrill Auditorium at 18 Myrtle St., the meeting will review plans by the Maine Department of Transportation to modify the highway interchange, city spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said in an Oct. 9 press release.
The plans, which can be viewed at the city website, will also include sidewalk improvements. Questions about the proposed work can be directed to DOT Project Manager Ernie Martin at 624-3381 or ernest.martin@maine.gov.
