The Maine Coast United U-12 boys’ soccer team, featuring players from throughout The Forecaster’s coverage area, just completed a very successful 19-3 regular season by winning the Coastal Summer Challenge tournament in Bowdoin to capture the New England Soccer League championship. MCU United will next be playing in the Region One national tournament in West Virginia.
The first tryout for the 2010 season will be held on July 8 at the Falmouth Community park at 6 p.m.
