The Maine Coast United Magic U-17 girls’ soccer team won its fifth straight state title last month with a 2-0 victory over Maine Metro behind goals from Karyn Barrett and Abbey Cavalero. The team earned the right to travel to the U.S. Soccer’s National Championship Series regional competition in Barboursville, WV., the weekend of July 4.
