CAPE ELIZABETH — Maxwell’s Farm, on Spurwink Ave, opened its pick-your-own strawberry fields June 17.

The fields are open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Old strawberry trays from past seasons are welcome, but odd containers, such as Tupperware, or pots & pans, are not, as the scales are set to the tare weight of the trays.

Strawberry trays are 50 cents and quart containers are 10 cents, the same as last year.  Strawberries are $2.29/lb. Cash and checks only.

Watch for signs in the Two Lights area of Cape Elizabeth and call the strawberry hotline at 799-3383 in case of early closures. All inquiries should be sent to info@maxwellsfarm.com.
