SOUTH PORTLAND — Two masked men robbed a Maine Mall restaurant and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash on Monday, Feb. 20, according to police.

Police said that about 10:45 p.m., an employee of On The Border was confronted by the two robbers behind the restaurant. One masked man held that employee, while the other went inside and forced the restaurant’s manager to turn over cash. Both robbers then fled.

One of the employees received minor injuries as a result of the assault. The robbers were described as young men, approximately 20 years of age. Both wore black clothing and ski masks. Both were about 6 feet tall and average build.

Police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call 799-5511.
