PORTLAND — Mary Theresa Ridge, 97, died in Portland on Aug. 26.
She was born in Portland on April 27, 1913, a daughter of Patrick and Margaret Folan Ridge.
She attended local Catholic schools and was a lifelong communicant of the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception.
Her career in the ice cream manufacturing industry spanned 28 years. She worked first for Sealtest, and later for Hood, until she retired in 1970.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Barbara E. Ridge and Catherine M. Fay, three brothers, Stephen J. Ridge, John L. Ridge, and Coleman F. Ridge, and a nephew, Timothy F. Ridge.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorial services were held earlier this week.
Arrangements are by Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 172 State St., Portland.
