BATH — Mary Louise Fullerton, 84, of Bath, died Sept. 28 at Winship Green Nursing Home, Bath.

She was born in Massachusetts on Nov. 18, 1928, to Roland and Mary Beaton Haining.

Fullerton attended schools in Brunswick and Bath. On July 16, 1949, she married Cecil L. Fullerton. The couple resided in Brunswick and later moved to Bath until the time of his death in 1994. She continued to live in Bath until she died.

She worked for a brief time at W.T. Grants before becoming a stay-at-home mother.

Fullerton had a passion for antiques and decorating. She became a local antiques dealer and enjoyed shopping for antiques across Maine. A highlight for her was her yearly trip to Brimfield, Mass. In addition, she was an avid animal lover, and always had pets and fed many strays that came her way. She also enjoyed shopping and reading.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Cecil, of 45 years, and brothers Phil and Roland Haining, of Brunswick.

She is survived by her son, Peter and wife Jean, of Bath; grandson Tim and his companion, Lisa; grandson Ryan and wife Pam; a sister-in-law, two nieces and a nephew.

Visiting hours were held Oct. 3 at David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, Bath. A funeral was scheduled for Oct. 4 there, followed by interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends and family were welcomed to a gathering after the services at the home of her son.
